After a disgraceful political career, he at least managed to prove that “the Christian vote” in Australia is somewhere between tiny and non-existent and that he’s less influential than most. And he quit rather than sponge off taxpayers until the next election, which would have been an easy option for him, so there’s that to be thankful for.
