Azealia Banks says she is not homophobic after a series of questionable incidents
RAPPER Azealia Banks has caused controversy in the past weeks with comments聽on social media that have been perceived as homophobic.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, the 24-year-old compared the LGBT community to the Ku Klux Klan:
This followed an outburst on a 1am flight into LA were Banks called a Delta flight attendant a 鈥渇ucking faggot鈥� after she had trouble edging herself past a French passenger.
Banks, who is openly聽bisexual, has since said she is not homophobic in a series of subsequent tweets, which also attracted聽support from other high-profile LGBTI social media users.
I am bisexual. my brother is trans. My employees are all gay men. . Nothing else to say.
