Ian Thorpe has large feet, which give him an advantage over other swimmers. There will always be an athlete who has some kind of natural advantage, be it height, be it foot size, be it anything. It’s just like someone who has to study for weeks for an exam, as opposed to someone who can look at it and remember it once, and that person does better in an exam. What do you do, deduct marks from the former? As you say, Dutton is no ally to the LGBTIQA Community.
