I hope and wish that he gets much support. Hopefully he’ll soon be able to say and believe that his gayness “This Just happens to be part of me” like we did on our 1972 ABC national TV Chequerboard program.

That Israel Folau – some today might even be asking “Who is he?” misused his religious beliefs (a common practice amongst Pentacostals and other extremist religions) to preach Hatred is not surprising. Has sport, in particular ARU, NRL, AFL ans Soccer, really changed? Have they, by that I mean the Players not the officials, become more accepting of those who are part of the GLBTIQ+ Community? If they have then why do the Dan Palmers have to wait until they have retired before they can be honest with, most importantly themselves, and the rest of society? It matters not one iota what the officials say it is the Players who have to accept and put aside their oh-so-macho, “I’m a big hetero male & I don’t want to run the risk of being propositioned by some queer” attutude.
