Lots of idiots are blaming lots of things for these shootings. Mental illness, violent video games, shitty parents, and now this idiot is blaming gay and trans folks.

The very simple reality is that any idiot can choose anything to blame but they NEVER explain why all the other countries which have (insert favourite scapegoat) don’t regularly experience mass shootings.

The cause of the many neverending shootings is American gun culture with its easy access to powerful rapid-fire weapons which far exceed the killing power of pistols/rifles that existed when the Second Amendment came into being. That’s why these shootings are so common there, but so rare in the rest of the western world. And American polticians like the moron in this article and also Trump in his speech today REFUSE to change any gun laws at all.
