She was a tireless worker in the vineyard of gay and lesbian liberation. A truly selfless woman in many areas of our movement. I am sure she saved many people from despair, helping them be proud of who they were. I do not know whether her contribution was ever recognised by State and federal governments. If not, it is about time that her contribution IS formally recognised. My last memory of Nan is seeing her at Brunetti having a meal with her husband and daughter. May she rest in peace. She truly deserves that.
