The incursion of homophobic-laden harassment and intimidation, under the guise of ‘public decency’ and ‘cultural sensitivity’, is absolutely horrifying to see. Keep fighting Kevin as all queer/LGBTIQ+ nudists deserve the right to enjoy themselves without being victimised by bureaucratic red tape!

Thanks so much for airing my story. Whilst we applauded the 78ers who had the incredible courage and bravery to challenge the status quo of the times 40 years ago..here we still find homophobia and discrimination not only condoned but actively promoted by victorian government institutions. Apologies dont cut it when the same behaviour continues unabated.
It is the blood of martyrs that create change. There is no normal transition to enlightenment of thought and action.
Homophobia is rife and running wild. I do plead with you to combat it where and when you can..not everyone can be a frontline soldier but we can all be part of the battle.
To be even having to deal with this issue currently is Midiculous given we have just celebrated 40 years of mardi Gras.
The 78ers are my inspiration/

Have to admire the council’s tactics. Pitching the rights of gay men against a “Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management Plan” (whatever that is).
