Catering to the 18 to 35 gay demographic. Ageism raises its very very ugly head again. They seem to forget who are the people who have built our community, who have set up and run most LGBTQIA organisations and businesses in this State and country.
If older gay men are discouraged along with lesbians and trans women, I would very strongly suggest making your feelings known on multiple social media platforms, and consider taking the matter to the Anti Discrimination Board. Discrimination is illegal under State and Federal laws. If you are in business; you MUST be open to all and not discriminate.

Discrimination in any form is Sooo 1960’s and so boring.

Ok. I'm a born n bred Oxford st woman, (literally!), an Oxford st regular. Other than that, I don't label myself. I've watched and been a part of Oxford St mischief since the 80's.. Gay venuees catering to whatever types of cultures need to be supported regularly by loyal patrons, otherwise they won't survive. A couple of fun ideas with a bit of fun - How about "H Clubb" ? (for Horse. ) or "The Dropped Pony" or "Drop The Pony" or "DTP" for short?

Unlike Adelaide which has none, at least Sydney and Melbourne have bars and venues which cater for the LGBTIQA+ Communities! All of Adelaiide’s closed down years ago.
