Passing a law to protect just one individual person goes against the “fundamental principles of equal protection under the law” in 2019. It is about protecting Tasmanian sovereignty too – since an explicit clause within the religious freedoms bill completely overrides excellent Tasmanian legislation in force since 1998. This is called overreaching federalism powers. This is why I am a libertarian since 2016!

It would shock Labor back to sticking with their principles instead of this timid weirdly right-wing stuff they are doing at the moment. Some people will say “No! Don’t do that! You’re wasting your vote!” But Australia has preferential voting so you don’t waste your vote. Give Labor second preference. If you are worried about the Greens “not knowing how to govern” I’d say stop worrying. Melbourne has been doing fine under the Greens. And anyway, they can’t possibly be worse than the current mob of incompetent corrupt imbeciles ruining the country.
