They been trying to gain power over the event for years for their own political ideology and agenda, as clearly stated in this piece. They weren’t even a thing for the first 30 years of Marti Gras, and yet parade themselves as the virtue survivors
of MG. FYI – all the gains we have achieved were made without Pride in Protest.
MG is now a celebration with advocacy. Pride in Protest – a tiny minority of clique radical activists wanting to take over. They don’t represent the community. It’s a No Thanks!
